Premium flexibility agreements must be written and may be terminated by agreement or by one of the parties to the dismissal. Although in force, a flexibility agreement is a useful way to vary the number of hours a worker completes over a week or a period of weeks and to give the worker a salary other than overtime. For example, a bonus flexibility agreement can be particularly useful when an employee wants or needs to start working regularly at 5 a.m. or 6 a.m. Changes in normal working time mean that the worker can start earlier and is not entitled to overtime or a penalty. Once the work is done the day before, an employee should not start work without a 10-hour break. If there is no agreement, the normal weekly hours are: the normal hours of work for full-time employment are 36 hours per week, a maximum of seven consecutive days. All professionals up to USQ Level 8 must record their attendance hours in an official recording of the University Professional Timesheet`s participation in their faculty or section. In addition, all USQ Level 9 and higher professionals who have received a period of leave instead of overtime must record their hours of attendance in an official attendance record in their faculty or department.
These working time records are part of the university`s time and salary records and should be kept for a period of seven years. Call-out rates for Level 1 to 10 workers are paid in the first two hours at 150% of the normal rate, and then at 200% of the normal rate. All holiday proclamations are paid at 250% of the normal price. Meeting employees and permanent members of political groups (only residential colleges) who work in a shared class receive a sharing allowance under the terms of The Schedule F – Allowances in the USQ Enterprise Agreement. Only a break from daily working time is allowed. The severance pay is paid at the employee`s basic rate of pay for normal hours of work, but is not included: professionals must take a 30-minute to 60-minute meal break per day.
