Employment contracts exist between employers who hire and pay an employee, an independent contractor, a subcontractor or a self-employed person. Employment status depends on the IRS tax classification of the person hired; W-2 (personnel) or 1099 (independent contractor). After consultation with both parties, the work plan, location and payment cycle are recorded in the employment contract. Employers should keep records of the hours the person has worked and details of the leave taken. As of April 6, 2020, the reference period for vacation pay for workers without normal working time (such as casual workers) will increase from 12 to 52 weeks. You may not at any time remove confidential information (in any form) from the university unless you have the prior consent of your department head or applicant. Lag A written work agreement ensures that you and the person you employ have a common understanding of the work. For you, this is a great opportunity to be aware of your needs and expectations and, like any company agreement, it increases the likelihood that the worker you employ will meet your standards. 19. UCARDS/BADGE IDENTIFICATION If you have received a UCard/Identification badge, it must always be clearly visible during your studies. You should not carry your uCard/ID card if you are not in university. You must return each UCard/Identification badge at the end of each order or at the request of your department head or delegate. You must inform corporate Information & Computing Services if you lose your UCard or the department if you lose your ID card as soon as possible.
Make sure the worker understands that you are introducing a written document not as some kind of reprimand or sign of distrust, but as a way to smooth out some of the knots in your relationship. This is one of the biggest sources of tension in a home workplace and you owe it to yourself and the worker to make an agreement that accurately reflects your working hours and that, if necessary, creates flexibility: you need to keep the university informed of the hours you work for third parties so that it can fulfill this obligation. In Sweden, around 90% of employees are covered by collective agreements and 83% in the private sector (2017).   Collective agreements generally contain minimum wage provisions. Sweden has no legislation on minimum wages or laws to extend collective agreements to disorganized employers. Unorganized employers can sign replacement agreements directly with unions, but many are not. The Swedish model of self-regulation applies only to companies and workers covered by collective agreements.  It is likely that the employer will be overloaded with CVs and applications from potential candidates interested in this position.
