University Of Michigan Material Transfer Agreement

Regulates the transfer of equipment from U-M to another organization. Our basic condition for general education must be completed with UM-Flint. Students who do not complete the entire MTA receive a course by assessing their transfer credit, which may require additional UM Flint general training courses. Individual course equivalencies can be find here. Michigan Transfer AgreementThe Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) was designed to help you move from your Community College to a four-year college or University of Michigan. The MTA replaced the old MACRAO transfer contract in the fall of 2014. Students who follow the MACRAO transfer agreement are encouraged to work with their advisors to obtain a diploma in a timely manner. “If I am willing to transfer, how can I be sure that the Michigan Transfer Agreement will be applied to my four-year conclusion?” You will be encouraged to inquire about your Community College`s policy regarding verifying your transcripts to determine whether the MTA has been complied with or not. Note that some schools automatically incorporate MTA into your transcripts if you have acquired an arts or science associate.

If you do not intend to graduate for two years, you may need to request a verification of your transcripts. After receiving your Community College transcripts containing the Michigan Transfer Agreement Satisfied statement, the participating four-year school will apply the agreement to the requirements of your license. College Advising/Counseling Office: Your two-year university advisors and university advisors can help you with career information, four-year college options and transfer plans. MTAs are managed by U-M Tech Transfer. Intellectual property rights may be threatened if materials are used without proper MTA. If you need help with mtA questions, please contact John Corthell. Although most four-year colleges and universities provide transfer guides on their institution`s website, many community colleges will also be linked to their websites. You are invited to speak to your community college counsellor and a counsellor from the four-year school you wish to attend. Student Advising Students planning for transfer to UM-Dearborn should inquire with their Community College about authorized courses to be included in the above MTA categories and know the details for MTA confirmation on their transcript. During the course planning and selection process at Community College, students are encouraged to contact UM-Dearborn Transfer Guides to determine which MTA courses are best integrated into their planned program.

Community universities will have a website with detailed information, including courses approved for the closing of the MTA. University of Michigan-Dearborn Admissions Advisors are also available for additional questions. As a general rule, transfer guides (which can also be referred to as a program guide or transfer program) include courses taught by the community school, which are transferred to the four-year school and meet the requirements of a bachelor`s degree. Transfer guides may also contain other relevant information, such as admission requirements for a main subject, university degrees, knowledge/skills acquired in the main subject and career information.
