Although recent literature on artificial intelligence and knowledge representation has attracted a great deal of attention from many communities on this subject, the results of these studies depend on the number of agents involved. The mechanism for obtaining agreement has been widely studied in the theatre-like gaming community, but only for quantitative objects that need to be negotiated. Irreconcilable opinions, objectives or disagreements are so contradictory that it is impossible to reach an agreement, if a group, organization or country is divided, there are large differences between the people in it In this paper, we address the problem of defining a general framework that can be used to formalize the steps that two agents in one case or a group of more than two agents in the other to achieve agreement on a number of significant terms. In particular, we define once we have defined a logical framework to represent the situation of two agents negotiating, an algorithm that automates the meaning negotiation process, and study its computational properties. We expand the algorithm to a framework where there are more than two bargaining agents.
